Transitional styles

Fixtures from the Progress Lighting Trinity collection exemplify a marriage of traditional and contemporary elements for a classic, timeless design. This transitional style is very popular among homebuilders.

Minimalist design

A movement towards minimalist design has brought attention to Progress Lighting’s Wisten collection. The collection features a clean, modern design with simple and balanced elements that make it a perfect solution for today’s understated interiors.

Simplified fixtures with traditional influence

Updated or simplified traditional designs are quite prevalent among builders and they can work well with a craftsman aesthetic. The Progress Lighting North Park collection was designed as a new take on the traditional square glass craftsman style light fixtures, with simplified shapes that give it an updated feel.

Energy efficiency

A shift toward more efficient lighting technologies allows consumers to make subtle energy saving changes. LED and CFL lamps play a big role because they can pay for themselves through energy and maintenance savings, while providing aesthetically pleasing lighting.

The Haven collection offers a modern design that beautifully hides the fixture’s CFL source. Since the color consistency and spiral shape of the CFL lamp often deter homeowners, collections that are designed to conceal the source and diffuse light are a top pick among builders. Haven also allows builders to take advantage of the popular trend to position pendants in groups of two or more.

Glamourous lighting

For more lavish home settings, the trend to incorporate decorative fixtures that feature glamorous accents such as crystals, jewels and beads makes Progress Lighting’s Nissé collection a favorite among luxury homebuilders.

Many designers have elected to incorporate elegant fixtures that transform the master bath into a luxurious, spa-like retreat. This bathroom setting, completed by Toll Brothers, features Progress Lighting’s Nissé chandelier, crowned with stylish off-white shades.

With glamorous, vintage-modern appeal, Progress Lighting’s Nissé nine-light, two-tier chandelier features discs of clear glass that reflect off the bright Polished Nickel finish. A center column features drops of opulent beads that cascade down sleek curved arms, forming a dramatic waterfall effect.
