Showstoppers: Top 4 highlights of Builders’ Show 2016

  • Last week, Progress Lighting exhibited at the International Builders’ Show (IBS), the world’s largest annual construction show in the world. You can expect everything to be bigger, better and brighter in Vegas – and this year was certainly no exception. We enjoyed the opportunity to connect with new and existing partners while sharing how to create seamless lighting, electrical and automation solutions – tapping into the expertise from the entire Hubbell team.

Progress Lighting at International Builders' Show

  • Attendees visited our booth to get a “first-look” at our newest collections, browse our most-loved designs and preview the latest LED technology. Plus, the New American Home (TNAH) 2016 was the talk of the show – with Progress Lighting front and center as the leading lighting supplier of this state-of-the art model home.
  • In case you weren’t able to make it out to Vegas – enjoy what we coined the Top 4 Highlights of IBS 2016.
  • TNAH 2016: Progress Lighting named “best supplier”
  • Progress Lighting was named the “Best Supplier” of the New American Home by Element Design Build. Builder Josh Anderson called these awards “the best-ever awards.” It was an honor to be chosen to exclusively illuminate the home, and even more exciting to be named the “best of the best”!

The New American Home 2016 featuring Progress Lighting Penn pendants

  • An eye-catching custom fixture designed using Progress Lighting’s Penn pendants created an awe-inspiring effect in the home’s impressive two-story dining area.
  • Trend Alert: More mixing, less matching.
  • We heard it from attendees, we saw it in other booths and we displayed it in our own – designers are saying that “matchy-matchy” looks are out and unexpected combinations are the new mantra. From mixing materials – such as metals and wood – to pairing contrasting finishes – such as a gold and black – there is new freedom to get creative with your home decor pairings. Trend spotters saw this happening not just in light fixtures – but also in appliances, countertops and plumbing, all across the Builders’ Show!
